TAE KWON DO

Tae-Kwon-Do is a Korean Martial art:  The art of hands and feet, consisting of hard blocking, punches, Katas, weapons and sparring. Tae Kwon do combines combat techniques, self-defense, sport and exercise.

WEAPONS
WEAPONS

Weapons use in class is designed to learn good hand and eye coordination.  Weapons are also used in competitions and talent shows.  Weapons taught at USA Karate are:

Bo Staff, Kamas, Tonfa, Fan, Nun Chucks, Cane, Escrima Sticks, 3 Sectional Staff, and Broad Sword

MUAY THAI

MUAY THAI

Muay Thai is commonly referred to as 'The Are of Eight Weapons': 2 hands, 2 feet, 2 shins and 2 elbows. Muay Thai translated into Englis as Tahi Boxing.

AIKIDO

AIKIDO

Aikido is a Japanese art, founder of the process of defense and its factors.  The inner factors are the role of the mind, the principle of centralization, the principle of extension and the principle of control. Aikido is performed by blending with the motion of the attacker redirecting and controling the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on.

KICKBOXING

KICKBOXING

Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from Karate and Muay Thai. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport. Feel the pounds melt away as you punch, hook, jab, and kick your way to a stronger you!
